Wonder Mom Goal Getter Rebeca Rumayor Shares Her Truths:

HOW DID YOUR CAREER/LIFESTYLE COME INTO BEING AND HOW DID YOU KNOW IT WAS THE ONE TO RUN WITH?

I have always been interested in technology and marketing, and am fascinated by law and business ownership. After deciding not to attend law school, I began my own marketing agency and really enjoyed working from home as CMO of Rumayor Marketing. I will be in the field again as an IT intern but hope to work remotely and telecommute in the future. I am combining my knowledge of legal practice with my knowledge of technology and marketing by helping law firms and legal agencies build their online presence and authority. I love technology and will continue to run with it in the future.

HOW HAS HAVING A CHILD TRANSFORMED YOUR LIFESTYLE?

I have to balance my school or work demands with attending to the needs of my one and only gifted son James Rumayor. I multitask so I can network strategically to move my career forward and still spend quality time with James. One example of that is volunteering at his school’s Hackathon next week.

In memory of my mom who I lost to brain cancer 6 years ago. She was a fighter. She raised me and my disabled brother without speaking a word of English, only Spanish. And my father was sick due to a stroke when I was 11. He died when I was 13… for 4 long years, she took care of all of us.

WHAT IS YOUR SPIRIT ANIMAL OR DREAM SUPER POWER?

My spirit animal is a chihuahua. We are small but energetic and cheerful. Full of personality in a petite package.
