Win This! 54 Piece My First Magformers Set
If your into finding the best of the best for you babe’s development, then you probably know the power of magnetic building toys. They simultaneously get your kids thinking about geometry, physics, spatial understanding and abstract creativity just with a click of two pieces. So, which magnetic building set is the best? I recently got a demo and a sample to test out from My First Magformers.
I have to say that they are pretty bad ass. The magnets roll around inside so that they are almost always going to connect with whatever pieces you put together. That’s especially cool for the younger kids who get frustrated easily. In fact, it makes perfect sense that they recently launched My First Magformers for younger kids. There aren’t any other magnetic building sets like them! They are bright colors, simple shapes, easy to handle and so much fun to play with. They work perfectly with the Magformers for older kids so you can build your collection and get all of the sweet add-ons like the working gears and wheels and motors.
And, for kids who don’t have a vision for building the next Eiffel Tower straight out of the box, they have a spiral bound game book and giant laminated building suggestion cards to get the ball rolling. My son would not rest until he’d tried every single game and building suggestion and then started making his own creations without any guidance. It was inspiring to watch because he tends to be a little bewildered when sat in front of other abstract building sets.
The only thing that is kind of annoying about this toy is the packaging. It’s hard to get everything back in that dang box. I surrendered. It’s not a big deal that I can see the building cards poking out the top, but it does bother my need for order. Maybe you aren’t supposed to keep the box, but then, where are you supposed to put everything so that it’s all together? I think I’ll put the building cards and game book on the book shelf and put the actual pieces in a bin. Then I can toss the box and be done with the stress of seeing its imperfection.
Storage aside, My First Magformers is a seriously cool toy and I’m psyched to be giving a 54 piece set away. You can also buy a 54 piece set of My First Magformers at Nordstrom for $99.99 but why not try to win it first? Earn loads of entries by following the steps below.
