Couture Baby Ballerina

petit a petit and familyIt’s a good thing that I don’t have a daughter (yet) because I would be blowing every penny I have on all of these adorable accouturements that I keep discovering. But, instead, I can share them with you and dream. Fair enough! These two priceless little gems turn any baby girl into a perfect little Parisian baby ballerina.

I couldn’t believe how cute this little bathing suit was! I found it on Petit a Petit and Family which is a blog that I adore that is run by children’s wear designer and stylish supermom extraordinaire, Celina Bailey. I mean, whether you’re into the ballerina idea or not, this suit is ooo la la lovely. It’s made by the Parisian couture house for children The House of Leoca which was created in 2010 with a mission to create timeless, artistic and high-quality clothing for children from 0 – 12. This ballerina swimsuit at 70Euro is a little pricey but I could totally justify the expense. “It could be her only swimsuit this year.” “It’s an heirloom.” “It will make everyone so happy to see her in it!” Ok, so you have to really want it to justify it. But I would! Unfortunately, it doesn’t come in the pink and black featured by Celina anymore, but they do accept custom orders…OR, you could go with the fabrics that they’re offering in their current collection. My favorite is this cool link pattern. I love the little tie in the back and the cinched waist and puffy bottom. It is ridiculously perfect.

And, to match this priceless little frock, you have to see these ballerina slippers by Sofie Schnoor that have become one of my most popular pins on Metro Mom Club on Pinterest. They’re so delicate and made of such soft leather that any early walker will feel like a natural. When babies first start walking it’s important to give them shoes that allow their feet to flex and feel the ground so that they develop properly. These are perfect for that! And, they’re SO cute!!! You can get them at Milky Walk, a European hub for cool kid fashions that I love. These slippers will run you 42Euro; which isn’t too bad when you look back at the countless priceless photos and videos you were able to capture of your little baby girl wearing them. baby ballerina slippers

If you can’t justify buying these for your own little girl, consider giving them as baby shower gifts. These are the kinds of things that make awesome shower gifts because most people won’t buy them for themselves. And, although they wouldn’t buy them, they’ll use em and love em.
