If you were to tell me 10 years ago that I would be writing about the awesome stuff at Talbots I would have laughed in your face. But, I always say,  “if you never find yourself feeling like  hypocrite, then you’re never evolving” so, here I am. While flipping through the Talbots catalog expecting to see nothing, I found a few nuggets that are simple and modern without being frumpy. I wouldn’t go so far as to say they’re edgy but they’re great staples to mix with your edgier stuff. Floral Band-Collar Shirt $99 Hey, we deserve to feel pretty sometimes, too. This print is colorful and feels artistic enough that I’d be willing to wear it with a motorcycle jacket and my TBA Tresspass ankle boots.

Graci Suede Flats $119 I’m also always looking for cute red flats. They make every outfit feel more French, just like converse make every outfit feel more indie.  These are super comfortable with a foam footbed and flexible rubber sole. In other words, they’re perfect for stylish moms chasing after little monkeys.
