Best Of: Learning Videos for Toddlers
Before I had a baby I swore up and down that no child of mine was going to sit in front of a screen regularly. Well, times have changed in my house. We still don’t watch TV every day, or even on most days. But the few times a week when we do have some screen time, I try to make it count in a positive and educational way. We don’t have cable so we put on PBS occasionally. The Cat in that Hat sort of makes me crazy and Daniel Tiger feels dumbed down in a way that I’m not too keen on. So I’ve been searching for the Holy Grail: an awesome YouTube Channel of learning videos for Toddlers that parents can appreciate, too. And guess what? I found one!
Super Simple Songs is an oasis-like escape from the poor graphics and weird accents of most children’s videos on YouTube. If you love them as much as I do, then check out their website where you can get back up materials like flash cards, DVDs, CDs, Apps, Toys and more rad stuff to educate your kiddo. Go on, put it on to help get them suited up to go out in the snow or when you run to take out the trash or cook some lunch or lay on the couch for a few minutes. I won’t tell.
Here are some of my favorites from the Super Simple Songs YouTube channel:
I’m sort of obsessed with the instrumentation and cardboard creativity in their version of “The Wheels on the Bus”…
I also adore their sweet version of “Row Row Row Your Boat”…
And my son’s favorite is “One Litte Finger”…

We love Toddler Fun Learning – it’s a British YouTube channel where every video has some sort of educational value. Our kids are currently in love with their new series Gecko’s Garage. Check out http://www.youtube.com/toddlerfunlearning
Those Super Simple Songs video are amazing! My kids love them. Little Genius TV is another channel my youngest loves. The videos have a neat upbeat educational flavour…

Thanks, Dana!!
We’re so happy, and flattered, that you enjoy our YouTube channel. We love hearing from hip moms in the field that they feel good about having their little ones watch our videos. We try hard to keep our them fun and educational for the kids, and not too annoying for mom and dad to watch over and over. It’s great to hear that we’re reaching that goal. 🙂
Wishing you and your family the best.
